The artwork shown is a compilation of work from the last twenty-five years.
I have never been a proponent of painting on square or rectangle canvases. Because of this, I make use of common painting subjects like landscapes, still lives, and
figurative paintings to blend painting and sculpture in an unconventional way. The objective is to pull the viewer into the image plane to create a more personal relationship. My paintings are
hung on the wall, letting the artwork flow into the floor space of the observer, where I often add three-dimensional objects. Please The way my paintings are displayed on the wall allows them to
spill onto the floor into the viewers space, where I frequently place three-dimensional objects. I like constructive criticism, so please feel free to send an email to schneidertjs@gmail.com with
your comments about my work. I hope you enjoyed the work. Tom Schneider
